Dr. Satish Rao is a senior surgical oncologist. He brings a rich experience of 25 years and expertise in Head & Neck and Breast cancer surgeries , surgery for Parathyroid adenomas and thyroid surgeries. Dr. Rao is trained in surgical oncology from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He has undergone advanced training in Head and Neck oncology from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, USA and specialised training in Endoscopic laser surgery for Head and Neck cancer from the University of Kiel and University of Gottingen Germany.
He brings empathy and understanding to patient care in helping cope with the diagnosis of cancer. He ensures comprehensive cancer care by coordinating with other specialists like radiation and medical oncologists thereby ensuring complete patient care.
